Lesson 028 - Pisces
The Bridle, the Rein
− Enlightens the Eyes
Review of the Pattern of the Eternal Covenant:
Revelation 21:6 “…It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the
end.…” He who is – has done; He who was
− it is finished; He who is to come − it is done.
In eternity, before anything was created (John
1:3), God drew up plans and designed His blueprint in a covenant with
Himself.
In eternity, He who is [God] planned and designed a household of sons in His
image – after His likeness − a kingdom of priests. In
eternity, He who was [God] built
His household of sons through the Seed of the Begotten Son; in eternity, He who is to come [God]
has His household of sons forever; all is done − in the Eternal Covenant with
Himself.
Man lives in time;
God dwells in eternity; eternity is without beginning or end. All that is sourced in God is eternal, yet
the eternal operates in time. Eternity
has a past and a future; eternity future includes time in the middle.
God
designed, placed in sequence, gave color and named the covenant star signs in
the heavens to prophesy His covenant message; within the message of the
luminaries, eternity, time, eternal and everlasting are interwoven like a
tapestry and interrelated but not identical.
The tapestry pattern of the covenant star signs in the heavens, He who
is, He who was and He who is to come is foretold and foreseen repeatedly –
eternally.
The
sun’s path through the constellations reveals the order of the Eternal Covenant
that God designed, arranged and completed in eternity. God
ordained that the “signs and seasons” of the luminaires indicate the events of
the life of the covenant Son of the Eternal
[God] .
The sun is the
dominant light holder in the heavens. The covenant star signs seen in the
heavens at a particular time of year are visible because the sun, the dominant luminary “tabernacles” or
dwells in a constellation and shines (Psalm 19) in the direction of that sign
illuminating four other signs.
The position of the sun governs which luminaires are
declared in the evening sky. The sun “tabernacles”
in one constellation and four others are illuminated; thus, five luminaries
tell the message of the Eternal Covenant regardless of which luminary the sun
is “tabernacling.” The message of the
Eternal Covenant follows this prearranged order established in eternity.
Like a beautifully
woven tapestry the blueprint of the prophetic revelation of God’s Eternal Covenant
is hung in the heavens and confirmed in the Son of
the covenant; it is recognized
as done; God has done this (Psalm 22); it is finished;
it is done.
Review of Aries:
In the
sign Aries
− He who is is the “Gentle,
Merciful Lamb” who takes away the sins of the world. The sign Aries is the “dividing” point sign
in the covenant star signs of the Eternal Covenant. In April, the sun is “tabernacling” or
dwelling in Aries; the sun is in the direction of Aries.
When
the sun is in the direction of Aries, the evening luminaries are Scorpio
− He who is to come; Libra − He who is; Virgo − He who was, and Leo − He who is
to come. From God’s position as
designer of the covenant, Aries is the seventh sign from Libra. Seven is the number that speaks of
completeness.
Six
signs with their luminaries have preceded Aries. The repeating pattern in the message of the covenant studied thus far is as follows:
Libra in eternity − He who is is the Transaction of Propitiation.
Virgo − He
who was is the Son given, the
Seed.
Leo − He
who is to come is the coming of the King.
(Repeating
the pattern He who is, He who was, and He who is to come)
Cancer − He who is is the One who holds or
shelters, the Shepherd who calls the peoples of the world into His kingdom is
the Transaction of Propitiation (Libra).
Gemini − He who was – is the Betrothed Beloved of
the Son given, the Seed (Virgo).
Taurus − He who is to come – is the Servant of Jehovah, who offered Himself for all of
mankind, once for all time and for all eternity; He is the coming King (Leo).
Pisces
In
March, the sun is in Pisces. The sun is “tabernacling” or dwelling in
Pisces. When the sun is in the direction
of Pisces, the four evening luminaries in the heavens are Libra – He who is (the Transaction of Propitiation), Virgo – He who was (the Seed), Leo
– He who is to come (the King) and Cancer
- He who is (the One Who Holds or
Shelters).
From God’s
position as designer of the covenant, Pisces – He who was is the eighth sign from Libra. In the Hebrew the number eight is from a root word
that means, “to make fat,” “cover with fat,” “to super-abound” and is
indicative of a new beginning. As a participle, it means “one who abounds in
strength,” etc.
Following
the order of the signs, one sees the working out of what has been ordered and
arranged and done. Pisces is a warning sign;
He who is, who was, who is to come has done that which He purposed; it is
finished; it is done – “you must be born again” to enter into the kingdom of
God.
In
time, Pisces is the preparation period for the second coming of the Son
of the covenant. The priesthood of the
Son of the covenant as ministers of reconciliation proclaims the message of He who is the Transaction of Propitiation (Libra), He who was the Seed (Virgo), He
who is to come has come, the Rendering Lion (Leo).
He who is the One Who Shelters (Cancer),
He who was the Betrothed Beloved (Gemini), He who is to come, the Servant of Jehovah
(Taurus),
He who is the Lamb that takes away the
sin of the world (Aries), is coming
again. In five words, the message the
priesthood is preaching of the Eternal Covenant is – “You must be born again”
(John 3:3).
The
heavens declare that God has a plan, a covenant He made with Himself; the
purpose of His plan is to have man in His image and His priesthood is to share
His message.
In the
star chart drawing of Pisces are two large fish heading in
opposite directions but “caught” and
“held” together and pulled by their tails with a bridle or band. Pisces represents a multitude of
fish, a multitude of people from the sea of humanity. The duplication of the symbol, two large
fishes, pictures a multiplication of the multitude.
The
focus of the sign Pisces is not primarily the fish but the bridle – the band; the bridle is the reins of control. The
rein of restriction controlling the multitude of peoples from the sea of
humanity is the world system built by the pride of the self-will of man, “…MYSTERY,
BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH”
(Revelation 17:5).
During
the age of the priesthood, commonly known as the church age (which is fast
coming to an end), the nations are bound in the system they have built, the
political, economic and religious world system. The tail of a fish is the source of its
strength. Thus that which is the
reigning authority of the nations − the world system, built by the pride of man’s
self-will, is also what bridles them, restricting true freedom. The nations are bound in bondage by their own
“making.”
The sea
monster/monster of the sea of humanity – the world system of politics,
economics and religion is maintained by the stiff-necked world leader, the man
of lawlessness, having seized the multitude of peoples for himself by means of
the bridle.
Nevertheless
“Cetus”
the “Sea-Monster” (the
second decan in Aries) with the man
of lawlessness will be “The Overthrown” and
“Thrust Down” by the “The Lord or Judge of Cetus.” “The Rebel,” the pride of man’s
self-will, will be “Subdued,” “[The] Bound or Chained [as an] Enemy”
during the kingdom age as is seen in the sign Aries.
Aries, “The Lamb Sent Forth”
lays claim to the fish as His own possession by placing His foreleg near the
band even though the band is near the neck of the sea monster.
By
rights of creation the earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof (Psalm 24) “The
Dominion or Government [will be] Established”; what has been ordered
and arranged and done in the covenant is done!
In the stellar sign and star names is the comforting promise of
redemption to the nations bound by the bridle.
Names
of the stellar sign Pisces are:
“Fishes of Him Who
Comes”
“The Company of the
Prince”
“Congregation or Company of Him that Comes”
Star
names identified with Pisces:
“The United and The Upheld”
Name
of first decan in Pisces: “The Band”
Star
names identified with “The Band”:
No star
names have been preserved.
The
multitude of the peoples of the sea of humanity bound by the bridle is the “Congregation,
or Company of Him that Comes”; they will be “The United and The Upheld.”
In the
star chart drawings, the second decan in Pisces is a woman who appears to be
seated and is bound in chains that are fastened to her feet and hands. The chains fastened to the woman indicate
criminal activity and are in contrast to the multitude bound by the bridle. She bows her head as if in despair, held
captive in misery and distress.
The message
of the Eternal Covenant in the stars is a heavenly revelation of an earthly
kingdom. Only one woman is in the star
chart drawings – the nation Israel (Genesis 12, Revelation 12). Only Israel has the promise of the eternal God
for a kingdom of sons of God – a royal priesthood on earth.
Names
of the second decan Andromeda:
“The Chained Woman”
“The Stretched Out”
“Andromeda; Set Free From Death”
Star
names identified with Andromeda:
“The Broken Down”
“The Weak”
“The Struck Down”
“The Afflicted”
“The Bound”
“The Assembled”
“The Abundance”
“Delivered From The
Grave”
The
sign and star names give clear prophetic evidence of the war on the saints –
the nation Israel during the great tribulation, Jacob’s time of
trouble. As prophesied by her own
scriptures, Israel has been set aside for a time − the judgment of God on her. The rulers of the people brought these
consequences upon the nation because they incited the people to crucify the
Holy One of Israel. The Romans destroyed
Jerusalem and burned the temple and the Jews were scattered.
However,
in World War 1, God gave Israel her land; in World
War 2 God saw to it that the Jews received their national identity as the
sovereign state of Israel in preparation
for the great tribulation of World War 3. In the great tribulation the Jews will once
again experience persecution, but this time it will
be such
as it never before has been.
2
Thessalonians 2:3b-4 says, “…and that man of sin be revealed, the son of
perdition; who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that
is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple
of God, shewing himself that he is God.”
Unlike the nations of the earth, the remnant Israel
will not accept the abominable thing that the son of perdition does and will
not worship him. Jerusalem will be under
siege when the man of sin sits in the temple in Jerusalem as God.
The
remnant will not bow down and worship the man of lawlessness as God; Israel
believes it is offensive and monstrous that a man, a creation of God, sets
himself to be the “most high” (hence her rejection of Jesus as her Messiah). However, multitudes, both Jew and Gentile, do
bow down and worship the man of lawlessness.
Therefore,
the remnant Israel (the star chart drawing of the woman) will be his enemy and
charged as a criminal in her refusal to worship the man of sin; during Jacob’s
time of trouble, the waves of the sea of humanity will roar as never before;
many will flee; many will perish.
Yet, the
remnant Israel will not be forsaken. Although
the first five star names (five is the number of grace) show the remnant Israel,
represented by Andromeda, to be “The Broken Down,” “The Weak,” “The Struck
Down” “The Afflicted,” and “The
Bound,” she is not forsaken forever!
The remnant
nation will be held captive in misery and distress, yet secluded under the
sheltering wings of Jehovah in the wilderness, her LORD will remember her; but
He will not remember her sin. The grace
of God has not cast His people away; nor will He fail to fulfill all that He
promised.
The
chains that hold her captive in misery and distress will be preparation for her
to be held captive by Love. He will
forgive her iniquity, heal her land, and cause her children to come again to
their own border.
The
last three star names of Andromeda, “The Assembled,” “The Abundance”
and “Delivered
from the Grave” give a comforting promise of the redemption of the
nation to be born in a day.
The
number three stands for that which is solid, real, complete and entire. God’s primary attributes are three: omniscience, omnipresence and omnipotence. The number three speaks of reproduction and
resurrection.
The
trial of Jacob’s trouble is the necessary chastening of the nation. God will use the great tribulation, her just
recompense, to draw her to Himself and enlighten the eyes of her understanding.
The
tribulation will serve as birth pangs for a regenerate Israel to head all
nations during the kingdom reign.
Isaiah
54:4-8 says, “Fear not; for thou shalt not be ashamed: neither be thou confounded; for thou shalt not
be put to shame: for thou shalt forget
the shame of thy youth, and shalt not remember the reproach of thy widowhood
any more.
“For
thy Maker is thine husband; the LORD of hosts is His name; and thy Redeemer the
Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall He be called. For the LORD hath called thee as a woman
forsaken and grieved in spirit, and a wife of youth, when thou wast refused,
saith thy God.
“For a
small moment have I forsaken thee; but with great mercies will I gather thee. In a little wrath I hid my face from thee for
a moment; but with everlasting kindness will I have mercy on thee, saith the
LORD thy Redeemer.”
Jeremiah
31: 16, 17, 34b-36 says, “Thus saith the LORD; Refrain thy voice from weeping,
and thine eyes from tears: for thy work
shall be rewarded, saith the LORD; and they shall come again from the land of
the enemy.
“And
there is hope in thine end, saith the LORD, that thy children shall come again
to their own border…for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember
their sin no more.
“Thus
saith the LORD, which giveth the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of
the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divideth the sea when the
waves thereof roar; the LORD of hosts is his name.
“If
those ordinances depart from before me, saith the LORD, then the seed of Israel
also shall cease from being a nation before me forever.”
When the
most high God divided the nations their inheritance (Genesis 10) - their
portion of land to occupy, He set the bounds of the people – the borders of
where they would dwell according to
the number of the children of His nation, Israel (Deuteronomy 32:8,9). Genesis 10 explains that the nations of the
earth come from the three sons of Noah – the nation of Israel comes from Noah’s
son Shem through Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
Deuteronomy explains that the land given the nations, the sons of Adam,
the sons of Noah, is based on God’s nation Israel. Again, all is “done” in the covenant God made
with Himself.
God set
aside Jerusalem for Israel. No one may
have her land; it is the city of the King. He will
heal her land of the defiling blasphemy of the man of sin and cause her
children to come again to her own border. God gave the sons of Israel specific portions
of land to dwell in during the days of Joshua – Jehovah saves. He will do so again when the kingdom is
established. What has been ordered and
arranged and done in the covenant is done!
The third
decan of Pisces is Cepheus.
Other
names for Cepheus are:
“The Branch”
“The King”
Star
names identified with Cepheus:
“Crowned King”
“Branch”
“Royal Branch”
“Coming Quickly As In
A Circle” [brightest star right
shoulder]
“The Redeemer”
“He Who Bruises or
Breaks”
“Regulus” – Treading
Underfoot
In the
star chart drawing, the figure is a kingly personage who wears a crown upon His
head and a royal robe. He holds in His
left hand the scepter, a staff or rod of authority. Cepheus is the only male figure in
the star chart drawings that wears a crown.
The
right foot of the King (the “right” in the scripture is always a reference to
power) is firmly upon the pole star. A
pole star is a visible star, a prominent one that approximately aligns with the
earth’s axis of rotation. This star’s
position is closest to one of the celestial poles and lies approximately
overhead when viewed from earth’s North or South Pole.
The
position of the “Crowned King” is such that the heavens revolve around and are
under his feet! The crowned king is the
KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS (Revelation 19:16), the possessor of heaven and
earth (Genesis 14:19, 22).
The
star names “Crowned King,” “Branch,” or “Royal
Branch” identify the King as
the Seed of the Woman, the Royal Branch of King David’s line of the nation of
Israel. Other star names are “The
Redeemer,” “He Who Bruises or Breaks,” “To Come Quickly As in a Circle” and “Treading Underfoot.”
Clearly,
it is understood that the “Crowned King,” “The Redeemer Who Bruises,” will “Come
Again Quickly as in a Circle.”
Thus,
the herald preaching of the priesthood warns those in the church age; He who
is, who was, who is to come has done that which He purposed; it is finished; it
is done! The King is coming to set up
His Shepherd Kingdom of righteousness and peace – “you must be born again” to
enter into the kingdom of God. What has
been ordered and arranged and done in the covenant is done!
The “Crowned
King,” the Shepherd will break all
the bonds of captivity − the bridle and the chains and will hold the
captives of His Love captive by the reins of love. God so loved that He gave His only begotten
Son that whosever will believe into Him might not perish but have Life eternal
(John 3:16). Just as the ecliptic path
through the stars of heaven is circular, never ending - so is God’s love; for
all – for the nations and for His people Israel.
In the
end all is of God, through God and for God. Everything is new in the end; the “Maker” of
the heaven and earth has done it − a new heaven and a new earth and a new
creation of sons of God – all in the Son of the covenant.
“I am
Alpha and Omega − the beginning and the end.” The design and order of the things made new,
arranged, ordered, established and accomplished in eternity when God made the
Eternal Covenant with Himself.
He who is – has done; He who was − it is
finished; He who is to come − it is done.
“Therefore
the redeemed of the LORD shall return, and come with singing into Zion; and
everlasting joy shall be upon their head: they shall obtain gladness and joy; and sorrow
and mourning shall flee away” (Isaiah 51:11). Israel will
have her kingdom – forever!
